Asphalt cold patch additive is the main raw material used in the production of cold asphalt mixtures. It is used for repairing road potholes. It is produced through high-temperature polymerization of various materials.

Do you know how to use cold patch material, also known as cold asphalt mixture?

1. Cutting, breaking, trimming, and cleaning;

2. Spraying tack coat oil;

3. Spreading the cold patch material, about 1 cm above the road surface. For thicknesses exceeding 5 cm, layer-by-layer spreading and compaction are required;

4. Compaction can be done using a plate compactor, vibrating compactor, or by rolling with vehicle tires;

5. Traffic can be opened immediately after compaction;

6. For low-temperature construction, the material should be stored in a warehouse above 5°C for 24 hours before application.

Cold asphalt material is used for repairing small-area road potholes and is an alternative when transportation of hot asphalt mixtures is inconvenient. It is packaged in sealed bags.

Asphalt cold patch additive is packaged in plastic, with specifications of: 50 kg/drum and 200 kg/drum.
